hi there, if you can feel the misfire at an idle but not at a higher rpm than the fuel pressure regulator is bad im working on one right now that has mifire code and random misfire codes coming up

you can try changing the ignition coil, I own a 97 Dodge 1500 and mine did the same and thats what i had to do.

couple of things, did you actually gap the plugs yourselfor did you go on the assumption that they are pre gapped ? are the lead wires all in the correct firing order ? Is it possible a vacuum line got dis-connected ? I would also check the cap and the rotor.

I had a similar problem with a vortec. cause was faulty intake gaskets. The plastic gaskets sag in the middle over time and allow air between the intake and head. Felpro makes a steel/rubber replacement that is much better. hope that works for you.
