SOURCE: '05 Hyundai Sonata Coolant Change

remove the cap on the radiator or the header tank, use a plastic container that will hold about 4 ltrs of coolant, there should be a drain tap at the bottom of the radiator, if not you have to remove the hose clamp on the bottom hose and let the coolant drain out.
Replace the hose and clamp, top up the radiator and run the motor while checking the coolant level, if the level goes down a bit just top it back up and check over the next day.
hope this helps

SOURCE: disarm alarm on a 2004 sonata

If you use your keyfob to lock the doors, it will activate the alarm, and you will need to unlock with the keyfob. If you lock the doors with the lock button on the inside of the door, it should not activate the alarm.

Possible dirty EGR valve, or bad ignition module. Could also be many other things, coolant temp sensor, bad cat converter, clogged muffler, etc.

2004 Sonata coolant reservoir is so buried that it is impossible to see where the 'F' and "L" lines are. Is there another way to judge where the coolant level is?

probably not but the best way is to open the lid and stick your finger in the hole and if you can touch water the it will be ok. Any excess generated by the operating engine will flow out the overflow pipe

I have a 2004 Hyundai sonata 2.4L engine with automatic transmission. When a crankshaft sensor is replaced, it is neccessary to have the timing belt and its tensioner replaced also?

The 2.4 L engine has a timing belt & a balance belt. They should be replaced every 60,000 miles or every 5 years (whichever comes first). During belt replacement, the tensioner should be inspected for proper operation. If it's leaking grease or has collapsed, it must be replaced.

TB clean may help, depends on the code that has been stored. Usually if no running issues it was a blip, possibly front Lamba as they are common on Hyundai

crank shaft sensor don't normally go bad on hyundai.do you have a code for this?and what is the complaint?on the v-6 its behind the timing belt.next to the crankshaft gear.on the 4 cyl. its on the front of the block below exh. manifold. and easy to remove.
