How to replace thermostat in 3.6 vz commodore 95 model

Not fimiliar with commodore engineering (im from the US, we dont have those!) but follow the upper radiator hose to where it connects to the engine, theres the thermostat. Remove everything thats in the way of removal, swap the thermostat then reassemble. Sorry if this is to vague to help, but for some people, this would be the only clue they need to just hop into it!

Make sure your cooling fans are coming on. After a vehicle overheats, it's recommended you replace your temp. switch because it might not be accurate anymore.

INSTALLATION:
  • Install the thermostat.
  • Install the thermostat housing and gasket.

NOTE: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
  • Install the thermostat housing bolts and tighten them to 18 ft. lbs. (25 Nm).
  • Install the radiator hose to the thermostat housing.
  • Install the crossover exhaust pipe.
  • Install the air cleaner and duct assembly.
  • Fill the cooling system.

Hope it helps
