Do the diagnostics on the fault code first. You have the Ford emissions system Troubleshooting repair manual correct? If not try eBay for that and a wiring diagram booklet called the Ford Vacuum and Electrical Troubleshooting guide.

Reset check engine light ford fusion 2007


First fix the problem that made the check engine light come on. Then unhook your negative battery cable for 10 minutes to reset code in the computer. Mike

Its possible that recently disconnected the battery and the LOCK CODE needed re-enter.

Check your owners manual to the procedure.
