Fuse for turn signal

Where in gods green earth is the fuse for the turn signal/brake lights? There are 3 possible places and we can't seem to find it anywhere. The brake lights and turn signals aren't working, but the bulbs are fine.

I ACTUALLY HAD MY FRIEND TAKE A LOOK AT THE PLASTIC PART WHERE THE FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT CONNECTS... HE ADVISED ME THAT THERE IS A BAD CONNECT AND THAT ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS CLEAN THE METAL AROUND THE PRONGS ON THE BLACK PART OF THE ACTUAL LIGHT BULB THAT YOU PLUG IN ... YOU ALSO NEED TO PUSH THE LITTLE METAL PRONGS INSIDE OF THE WHITE SOCKET BACK UP SO THAT THEY CREATE A TIGHTER/SNUG FIT FOR THE BLUB WHEN PLUGGED BACK IN.... I HAVEN'T HAD ANY ISSUES SINCE HE FIXED THIS FOR ME ... AND MY 2 FRONT SIGNALS BEFORE THIS HADN'T WORKED FOR ALMOST A YEAR....

95 mustange gt brake light dont work check #9 fuses change all bulbs replaced switch on brake pedal hazards lights works ,parking or running lights works, turning signal lights works, what other places i...

I assume the fuse has power if the hazards work.
The third brake light skips the turn signal switch, the regular brake light circuit goes thru the turn signal switch.
Do you have power going into the turn signal switch on the red lite green wire from the brake switch ?

Iv got an 88 F150 4x4 iv got turn signals light fuse is good got power at break switch need no break lights and is there suppost 2 b 1 r 2 wires coming out of fuse box

Do you have power at both sides of the brake switch when the brake is applied? If so it sounds like the turn signal switch is bad. try turning on and off the 4 ways a few times. sometimes this will clean the connections and it will start working.
The power goes through the fuse to the brake switch. from the brake switch to the turn signal switch from the turn signal switch to the tail lights. If the 4 ways are on the power goes through the 4 way fuse to the 4 way flashers then to both sides.
If the turn signal is on and the brake is on, the turn switch cansles the power from the brake and uses power from a 3 fuse and flasher for the side that the turn signal is called for.
If I typed to fast let me know. I can answer any questions you might have.
If this helped you please vote 4 thumbs up. :-)
good Luck and God Bless

Would a bad Flasher relay cause the brake lights not to work?

The flasher does not stop the brake lights from working. Check # 18 fuse in fusebox under lower left side of dash. if it's ok, the brake light switch, on the brake pedal arm is next. light green wire with red stripe is hot if fuse 18 is ok. Depress brake pedal, light green with no stripe should have power. if not, replace brake light switch. If light green wire has power with pedal depressed, combination switch under the steering is next. Remove the cover from around the combo switch {under the steering wheel}. depress brake pedal, light green wire should have power. If it does, pedal still depressed, orange with light blue wire & wire with light green & orange should have power. Those 2 wires are brake & rear turn signal wires. { The turn signal switch should be in the middle, not right position or left. while checking for power in the last 2 wires. Good Luck drvolt.

My brake lights are not working. I've checked the bulbs and fuses and changed the brake light switch. I'm also having issues with the turn sugnals not working properly... could the turn signal switch...

no the indicators are not connected in any way with the brake lights ,which is what i would say on a europeon car but i have just realised that american vehicles use the stop light as the indicator so in which case the answer is yes ,dont have a lot of experiance with this system as its illegal here in europe ,but what i would do here is to put a paper clip across the brake light section of the switch and and then follow the current back along the loom .Now on this type of system the indicator cuts out the brake light so its possible that the new switch is defective as all the works for this cut out and turn on is built into the stop light switch so its possible that for some reason you are supplying power to the switch when you shouldnt ,or what else it could be is a bad earth on teh back light cluster so try another earth wire as well to the back lights as a bad earth will cause all sorts of problems .

No brake lights 3rd brake light works just put all new bulbs in.checked all fuses even under the hood, does this vehicle have a flasher fuses because those dont work either. both turn signal and rear lamps...

car should have an emergency flasher. If it isn't working, it could affect the brake lights. might be the same unit as the turn flasher but different relay inside. Is your fuse panel behind the glovebox? manual says flasher is in the fusebox. It's worth a try replacing this flasher unit. Looks like this:

Well for the camper there are for wires for the lights i have green wire that is the right turn signal and hooked it up on the right side to the green wire which is the right turn signal in the car then...

well, the following is the generic (standard) wiring for trailer plugs......

tail (clearance) = brown
left hand turn = yellow
right hand turn = green
stop (brake) = red
electric brakes = blue
earth = white

now, you said that you had connected green, yellow and brown, and white. which is all well and good, but you did not mention a red wire which would be for the brake lights.

I hope this helps, get back to me with more info to assist you.

Brake lights 1977 chevy silverado

If the left turn signal works but the left brake light doesn't, you probably need a new turn signal switch. This is inside the steering column behind the steering wheel. You have to remove the steering wheel to get to it. The brake lights are wired through the turn signal switch so the brake light on one side is de-activated when the turn signal is flashing on that side.

If the brake light and turn signal both are not working on one side, you probably have an open circuit somewhere. This could be anywhere from the turn signal switch through the wiring harnesses that go through the steering column, under the dash, possibly through the firewall, down along the frame, and back to the taillight bulb.
