Have you tried to pull any DTC codes. Here is a link for you so you can pull some codes, but you may have a bad Ignition Control Module (ICM) it's around $40.00 at Auto Zone and they can give you the step by step instruction to replacing it with common tools. The ICM is common to go bad after a few years due to time and corrosion. It's location is under the rotor in the distributor, as it heats up if fails or any changes in the engine speed.
