The only thing in that area that can really cause a knocking sound are the valves and tappets. Check the valve clearances or the lifters for a defect.

Not being able to hear it for myself, it sounds as if you have a wrist pin knock. The wrist pin connects the rod to the piston. The remedy is to replace the wrist pins and if the wear is extreme the piston and/or rod may need replacing. This work requires an engine tear down.
