Question about Isuzu Rodeo
Trying to change my band apply solenoid in my 4l30e trans my only problem is i dont know if i have to drop the valve body to pull the roll pin out any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

First of all, which component(s) are you replacing? Only the valve body? If so, then there's something different about the one you took out compared to the one you're putting in - that can be dangerous! BEST SOLUTION: Replace/Install in the correct part at the beginning.

pull the trnasmission pan off, the solenoids are attached to the vlave body inside the trans.

the tcm may be faulty or has a loose ground, try swaping in another if you can get one borrowed or a cheap used one from a salvage unit
