Im assuming you did try to jump the battery to see if it starts? Also, when you  switched batterys, are both terminals on tight? If you do get all lights to come, and headlights also work, do you hear anything when you turn the key?

No crank, no click, no lights, no start

Sounds like the cable connections at the battery are not clean and tight, or a problem with power to the starter post, or the negative connection. The cig lighter is on a circuit of its own. Most everything else goes thru the key switch. The headlights are on a direct circuit too. But everything has to go thru the main battery cables.

I would first clean the battery post and clamps, as a bad connection can cause a vehicle to act like the battery is dead, you can either buy battery terminal cleaner( it comes in a spray can) or you can use coke and a wire brush. Hope this helped Tim

I would say that you need to replace the alternator. The car was running on the batteries power. When you drove the car, it ran the battery completely dead.

2002 Dodge Stratus, Start Problem/ Electrical?

First thing I would do, is remove, clean, inspect & tighten all battery connections including & especially the other end of my negative connection. Also any connections to a power distribution box, that is usually found near the battery. In your explanation, you say when it does start, everything works normal, does that include radio & clock?

sounds like a bad door switch.you could have a bad connection in your ground and it only becomes disconnected when you close your door.
