Question about Cars & Trucks
I had almost exact same problem with my BMW. If it came on after the batter artery was unhooked that maybe cause. As to solution no matter how many times I was told there was a reset (I had one on control module inside car), the light did not go off. My mechanic, a German man who is excellent mechanic said this happens more often than not and could be short "somewhere" after searching I never found a way to turn it off. He suggested I just leave it on. I knew there wasn't anything wrong with car so I did just that. Eventually it would go off and come on randomly but has never gone off completely nor has it hurt the car in any way I can discern. If you know it needs bearing get that fixed and if light stays on...I suggest you just leave it as long as you know nothing else is wrong with the car. Hope this helps.

Cheapest option would be to have the fault code read by a dealer or specialist. Its likely to be a wheel speed sensor but its finding which one that's the problem. You could disconnect each one and take an ohms reading across the connections. They should all be the same or there abouts. Change the one thats not. If your lucky the light may extinguish. If not the fault will need to be cleared using diagnostic equipment.

Anti-Lock and Trac Off lights are lit on my 1999 Alero, as well. They usually come on after about 5 minutes of driving, but are not always on when I start the car.

The red brake light is the key here. That usually indicateds a hydraulic problem. Check you fluid level in master cylinder and see if it is low. Also the level indicator sensor there in the master cylinder maybe sticking or corrioded. If ABS sees the red brake light it will shut off and turn on the ABS light, also traction control would be disabled as well.
