SOURCE: Fitting brake light - fiesta zetec

There is also a push in socket at the top of the light and a clip at the bottom. When the screws are all undone insert a flat screw driver under the light fitting about 4 inches from the top (remember to use a cloth under the edge of the screwdriver to avoid marking the paintwork) you should be able to push it out now.

I have a ford fiesta Zetec s and i have a aftermarket stereo wired up but when i turn it on it lights up but no sound please help?

in all modes. new aftermarket or 1970.
the radio will play with radio , cassette, CD, or USB stick and even AUX to the iphone.
so are all dead? if yes,
that means.
the power pin is dead, (lights up does that mean dial lamps or you can see station tuning work, if just back lights that is not radio power
that is the park lights power.
the radio has power wire, main, that must be 12vdc or the radio and amp will be dead.
missing inline fuse. or blown?
most radios have 3 power pins and 1 ground
1: 12vdc power. main
2: 12vdc park lamp circuit, for dial.
3: memory.
4 : ground wire.
take all 4 to work right.
takes 1 and 4 to play music. at say USB port.

Wired up a stereo in my 2003 ford ranger, got the wire codes off the Internet, and ran wires to the back of the truck for two more speakers, worked great for like a week or two then one day the sound...

sounds like the wires that were run for the rear speakers may have gotten pinched and are shorting out. i'd check this first. then ensure you run a new ground wire directly to gnd. the wireing harness grn is normally insufficient for aftermarket radios

I own a 1993 Ford Explorer and my radio just stopped working. I checked all my fuses and they are all fine. What could be the problem

the radio may be defective, pull it out and verify power to the radio, u can buy the radio removal tools at any NAPA parts store or get them from Ford, they are very cheap to buy. here is the wiring colors and what they do, u will also need a cheap 12 volt test light, about $6
