On the cover of the fuse box it will tell you what that fuse controls, at that point you will want to take a look at what it controls and if it is fine. then trace the wiring back until you find where it is shorting out. Good luck and remember to rate the responses that you get thanx.

The fuse is for what electrical circuit??
test and check your wirings to find the shorted circuits...
have you checked the output voltage of your alternator?
it should be on 14v to 15v maximum... if it exceeded on the that... replace your alternator.

Interier fuse keeps blowing on start

It will be a dead short causing the fuse to blow. It could be in the starter motor or associated solenoid. Or in the glow plug relay circuit. Disconnect the glow plugs from the power wire to ensure they are not causing it, they probably wont be. N try to find the relay that operates them and un plug that. It will become a process of elimination. I hope that helps

No power to ignition switch. All fuses good. ASD power splice good. Battery good. Headlights, interior lights, horn, emergency flashers all work. No power to instrument cluster, multifunction switch,...

i would say you have a mains problem?any car that blows a 40amp fuse has a big fault.you have a direct short in the alternator/starter/battery area.take a very close look, as this type of fault will show its face pretty quick, check all heavy wires to and from starter/battery,and if satisafied get the alternator checked as it could be the problem.adrian,,,

My '04 Endeavor blew an ignition fuse and now won't crank!

If it blew a fuse you most likely have a short in the wire going to the starter or your starter is shorted internally. Hope this helps.
