Question about Ford Ka
The dashboard light of my 2002 Ford KA has blown (its the one which lights up the speedometer so i cans see it in the dark), repaced blown bulb but new one isnt working either, no other lights seem to be effected, I've looked at all the fuses in the fuse box but none looked faulty, not sure what else could be the problem could someone please advise Thanks D
Could be the small bulbs in the speedo unit have simply blown over time . You just remove the speedo unit and they tun about 90 degrees to unscrew . They cost a few pounds and you can get different colours these days.

In the Fuse Relay Box under the Hood there is a Headlight Relay. Replace this Relay along with a New Fuse and it should work. Let me Know. Please Rate my Response, I need all the Help That I can Get! Thanks!

SOURCE: license's plate light stopped working even with new bulb.
It wouldn't be a fuse if that's the only light that's not working, I believe all of the parking lights are on the same fuse. It's most likely a bad ground or corrosion inside the socket where the bulb makes the electrical connection. So check the socket to make sure it has no corrosion, if it does, clean it up and apply some dielectric grease (available at any parts store) to prevent future corrosion, and check for a loose or broken ground wire.

SOURCE: RE: Dashboard light out on the right side, at the fuel gauge
remove the trim around the cluster which there is two screws the trim maybe a little hard to come loose what i do pull down in the center at the top to break the seal then pull out there is approx. 4 screws that hold the cluster in yow can buy the bulbs separate just make sure you have the vin to give them at the dealer and tell them what part of the cluster is out may have to take a bulb in to show them they could possibly match it up some of those bulbs are interchangeable

doubt it is a fuse, could be,but i would check the speed sensor under the vehicle at the transmission,it will be a plug in with 2 or 3 wires going in to it,it will be on the side of the trans.towardthe rear of it.

SOURCE: Renault Clio dashboard and side light blow fuse??
Just to agree with ClioNZ on the issue of dash board lights and rear lights not working: I did exactly what he suggested, and it turned out that it was one of the three connectors by the bonnet release that was giving the problem (on my car, it's a square shaped, black coloured "plug").
I just plugged it out and back in, and everything is back to normal.
