Fused the pump? Do you mean that you think the washer pump fuse is blown because the washer fluid froze? Sorry, I have just never heard it put that way before.... Yes, it is VERY possible that this could happen.

SOme fuse boxes have latches that you squeeze at the top. Other have latches that you must pullout and up from the bottom. I have even seen some that the battery had to be removed just so you could get to the latches. I cannot give you any specifics for your vehicle because you did not mention what kind of vehicle you are talking about. You will just have to look at it and figure it out.

If it makes the bzzing sound then washer motor is fine . The pipe line which connects the the hood and tank probably came off. Open your hood and remove the foam cover just below the spray line and connect the line back. Try to tape it because it will come off again.

i hope it helps

It might have a little passage in the lines, it could also be frozen in the injectors. Use a fuel dryer with isoprople alcohol in it, this will work to remove the ice.

2004 AUDI A4 WINDSHIELD WASHER DOEN'T PUMP WATER. THE MANUAL SAID THERE IS 1 FUSE FOR THE WIPER SYSTEM BUT WIPERS MOVE.

Just saw your post as I was having the same problem. The fuse that you need to look at is #37. I changed that fuse and everything was all good. Apparently the headlight washer pop-ups can freeze up in cold weather and blow the fuse.

Hi I have a Kia Spectra 2005 and despite the reservoir for windshield is full it does not work, pump probably or a fuse is broken, how can I sole it? Mihai

Is the fluid frozen? This is the season for that to happen. Make sure that -20 deg. F fluid is used or better. 32 deg. F fluid for summer will freeze at the pump in the Northern Hemisphere in the cold winter months.

If, you do have cold weather washer fluid, then the fuse can be checked in the fuse box, and the motor is likely integrated into the tank, and can be pulled out (if it's like a GM).

Good luck on this repair.

I have a 2004 Audi A4 3L. The windshield washer will not work. Wipers are fine. Think it may be a fuse. Have no owner's manual. Where is the fuse box? Does the box have a diagram so I can figure out which...

Apparently the headlight washer pop-ups can freeze up in cold weather and blow the fuse. Fuse block is located on the left-end of the dashboard against the door. You need to open the door to access the panel.

Winshiled washer does not work

1. ensure that the wash fuse is ok.
2. click the ignition to on but do not start motor. and check for pump noise if not noise then suspect fuse pump, pump connection or washer switch.
3 if you can hear pump. check washer fluid bottle is not empty. check for any dirt in the bottle blocking the pump or pipe.
4 check pipes to washer jets are clear and connected.
5. check washer jets are not blocked, use a wire strand from a wire brush to clear.

is it cold? check that the fluid has not frozen in the system. get the vehicle in the warm and thaw out system once this is down top up with a good windshield antifreeze fluid.

work backwards through the sytem. disconnect water jet pipe and switch on if not fluid. move back to water container see if fluids comes or from there if so then pipes or jets are blocked.

if not pump is defective - blocked or not getting power..

i hope this was useful.

Hi, I have a peugeot 206 2005 diesel and the windscreen washers aren't working. They don't even make a noise so i assume the fuse has blown with the recent cold weather? Does anybody know which fuse it is?...

The fuse box is inside the glove box (on passenger side dash board).
Open the glove box and you'll then see a small box on the side with a Plastic screw on it. Turn the screw to 90° to open the fuse box. Which fuse it could be for washer motor i really don't know as peugeot service manual has not lost any word about fuse plan.

Where abouts is the washer bottle located on a mkII focus,as I cant get any water to come through the washer jets. Its not due to the cold weather as it started before that.Any ideas and solutions would be...

dirty lines crimped line
or just plain old rubbish in the pump or bottle

i assume you checked the fuses and the pump is running

also disconect the lines at the sprayer and make sure sprayers are not pluged

yes 10A fuse under bonnet next to battery causing no wash cycle but wipers as normal. Probably due to frozen pump in cold weather. Just done mine.
