Question about Hyundai Cars & Trucks
I have a hyundai sonata 98model 2liter and the fuel tank is rusty i am in Durban South Africa and i cannot locate a tank. What can i do to solve this problem?
The tank is rusty inside ? If thats the problem then you can have it boiled out at a radiator shop and theres a coating they use to seal inside of tank. If the problem is that it leaks then you will need to replace it. you have the internet, you can locate one and have it shipped to you. the last resort is to have a steel tank made, it may not be the same size but if there no other way then have one made. heres a website for used auto parts, i looked and there are many used tanks for this car.hope this helps.http://www.car-part.com/cgi-bin/search.cgi

no there is no way to service or repair your shock absorbers, tho it's a pretty straight forward job if you can find the parts yourself

You need to pull the fuel sending unit out of the tank and replace, if you have any other gages out it culd be in the instrument cluster, however that is the most common problem for that car. Sending unit. It The wire may have come off too.
