Question about 2001 BMW 325
The first, make sure there are no check engine ,abs, airbag lights on. turn the key on and make sure the lights work as i have seen people remove bulb for check engine light. check for good running engine drive on highway too. get nice and hot, make sure ****** shifts good. have a look after you drive for any leaks under the engine area. the best thing to do is take to a garage for a safty check, thats the most important thing i can tell you with also a long good ride, check ac operation check window, check all you can and still have it put in air. 2001 is old and i work on these all day long and i can tell you these are good cars but when they get up around 80,000 miles and more things happen and the repair are not cheap. so be very careful. ask for records or maintinance and repairs. hope this helps. good day.
