Holden Vectra - air con fan only works on maximum setting. If I switch to 1,2 or 3 nothing happens. I have checked the fuses, but all look ok?

It's common for interior blower speeds to only work on high when the blower resistor goes out. Usually located close to the blower motor. An electrical box/module with wires going to the fan motor. Goggle how to change it, and you'll know whether you can.

Hello my name is Sean and I have a 2002 ford focus wagon with a 2.0 motor. The blower fan for the heat and air has stoped working. I have ordered a new blower fan and resistor but havent received yet. I...

the fan motor is maybe bad, disconnect it (the motor) and put in new fuse, if its ok, then the motor is bad. the resistor only handles speeds lower than HIGH. so replace the motor first, then try it, if all speeds work, then the resistor is OK.

Heater blower stopped working?

Hello,
You may want to try your fan on all speeds. If it will work on high, you have a bad resistor for the fan motor. ( high speed doesn't go through the resistor ).
If it doesn't work on any speed, I would check the following;
1. Make sure the fuse isn't blown for the fan blower motor.
2. Check, or have checked the wires between the fan control switch and the fan blower motor.
3. Have the fan control switch checked.
4. Have the fan blower motor checked.

I hope this helps you.

Heater fan on 2002 Yukon does not operate in front, only rear.

The front blower motor is controlled by the blower resistor module.This is usually the problem with the front blower not working.I looked up the schecmatics and I don`t see separate fuses for the front and rear.But the fuse for the front blower is in the under hood fuse block.If this is good then The problem is probably the resistor module.It is next to the blower motor.The connector from the resistor connects to the blower motor.If you want to confirm this you can check for power and ground at the blower motor connector when you activating the blower switch on.This can be done with a test light.Make sure you have power going into the resistor module also.If you have power going in and no power at the blower motor then replace the resistor.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Air stopped blowing on ac/heater

Check your fuses.If you have a test light, unplug the blower motor, start the car, turn the fan on, if you have power to the blower plug, the blower motor is bad. If no power, if it's not a fuse, check the blower motor resistor. Should be mounted right next to the blower motor. It is inserted into the evaporator box
