Question about 1994 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer
Yesterday when i was on the freeway,my truck made a hesitating motion and then started decelerating. As i was pulling off to the side of the road,my steering wheel was locking up.And while the engine was still on,it basically just stopped.I went to try and start it a cpl minutes later and it actually did,and i made it home, but now it wont start.I've been having problems with my ignition/starter for awhile so im not sure if thats the cause or if its my transmission or its if due to my heating and cooling, which ive had problems with also. When i would go to turn the fan or heat on,it makes my engine bog like its using alot of power just to turn the fan on.I had some unrelated repairs done a few mths ago and it seemed that the vents werent a problem anymore but i could be wrong.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for reading...
It could be the trans. But I would check some other things first.
You mention that the motor runs down when you activate the blower motor, and the starter was acting up... This leads me to think it is an electrical issue .
Are the battery cables clean and tight?
