My 98 blazer doesnt start when cold. If I pour fuel into the carb it solves the problem, and I dont have any trouble starting it again till the following day. There does seem to be a slight miss when idling at stops. Any ideas what the problem is?

Its faulty fuel pump. When you pour gas in carb, it gets fuel directly, but when you start without pouring gas, then fuel is not reaching there.Low fuel pressure.Replace fuel pump and fuel filter.----- Thank you.
Try pouring some gas in the intake dont go nuts with gas just a few ounces if the vehicle starts and then shuts off you have a bad fuel pump. I have a 1996 Blazer and I replaced mine last year make sure if that is the problem that you shop around for a price because it could save you hundreds of dollars shop around. If it runs and keeps going it could be you fuel injectors are bad. Last winter i had to put gas into my intake when it got real cold. What happens is the fuel gels when it gets cold and it makes it harder for the injectors to take it in . I also replaced my fuel injectors now this winter it starts right up. ( If you dont no where the intake is locate your air filter and follow the intake vent where the vent hose connects to your engine. Unscrew the clamp pull off vent hose and then pour the fuel inside of engine fuel intake manifold. I will bet money your vehicle will start if it dont you have some type of electrical situation.
can be a number of things from fuel pump to coil pack but check the egr valve may be starting to go -remove and check for carbon build up if not fully encrusted use a carb/or a carbon cleaning solution to clean and free up valve--most problems give a code but -fuel pump-filter-air filter dont and egr will sometimes set off other sensors but usually doesnt until its to late
