Wanting to know if the Dana 30 front axle from a 2001 Grand Cherokee can replace the Dana 30 axle on a 2004 Wrangler?

dana 30 axles should be same all same
the only problem you will have to be aware of is the diff ratios
If the ratio is not the same , there is a real risk of front and rear diff failure or failure of the transfer case
you can overcome this by putting the diff from the bent axle housing into the new housing or have a transmission shop do it for you

Ford explorer 2011 rear axle wobbling and propeller shaft hitting the fuel tank bracket possible causes.

Sorry to say it sounds like you have a bent axle, If you mean Drive shaft when you say propeller shaft, then that's either because you also bent the driveshaft or you have u-joints that have gone bad. It sounds like a mess, Did you hit something or run over something? Rear axle don't just get bent form nothing. Has there been a grinding noise for awhile coming from the rear area? Your axle bearing or wheel hub bearing may be shot causing the wobble,

I have a rear drivers side bent axle on a 2006 f250 is it possible to replace the axle shaft or do I need to replace whole rear axle

Best to replace the whole; although just replacing the axle shaft can be the solution, but risky.

What will cause a rear axle bearing to go bad on one axle 3 times in two months?

the axle could be bent or damaged, the differential housing could be damaged, could be wrong bearing. you don`t say if this is a rear wheel drive you have or just a front wheel drive. there are front wheel drive bearings that have problems even new, because of manufacturing problems or inferior materials. try a different manufacture for a bearing.

How to remove a rear axle on a 98 Chevy K1500 truck

first up jack up the vehicle and remove the damaged wheel
fit the spare tire and then place an indicator ( rod on a brick ) close to the rim of the spare and turn the wheel
if the axle of hub is bent you will see the rim get closer then further away from the indicator as you turn the wheel
if it is , replace the axle and bearings
if not there will be no axle damage but the bearing could be "brinnelled "( a bearing term where the balls or rollers have been imprinted into the race from impact) in which bearing failure will become evident in 10-20,000 miles
next step is to go and get a rear end wheel alignment done as there could be suspension damage that will cause handling and tire wear problems

BENT THE RIGHT REAR AXLE ON MY 1996 FORD CONTOUR AND NEED TO KNOW HOW TO REPAIR IT

you don't repair it, you replace it. jack it up, remove the brakes, and all the brake assembly from that axle,, http://www.ehow.com/way_5731956_ford-rear-brake-replacement-instructions.html then remove the bearing cap,, cotter pin, and nut from the spindle , ( you might want to replace the wheel bearing at the same time due to the bad axle ) remove the axle bolts,, and shock bolts, from the axle beam. remove axle beam assembly

My brother went into the ditch with my car, (right side in snow) and was pulled out by a buddy. For some reason they heated and bent something, then pulled it out with the left rear tire (i believe). After...

that car should be front wheel drive and will not have a rear axel but will have an arm of a frame on the back you probably need to take the car to a tire store you trust and see if they bent something if not then you will probably need to get a 4 wheel alignment to true the back end and prevent that uneven wear.

I ran over a curb and now my left rear wheel is bent out. I've had it alligned and it didn't fix the problem. The axle seems to be fine. What else might it be?

the axle may seem fine but you more than likey bent the stub axle when you hit, they are easily changeable but without looking at the car could not tell exactly, what were the readings on the alignment, if it was too far out ie. more than 2' the guy doing the alignment should have alerted you to a problem, also if the stub axle housing is not bent (which you wont see with the naked eye unless its real bad), could be lower control arm, or even chassi mount bent? technically take it to a decent independant tyre shop not beuarepairs if you know what i mean and they should be able to tell exactly what needs replacing

Bent right rear RH axle 2001 prerunner 2wd.

Hello, and welcome to FixYa. Let me assist you as follows:
Removing the rear axle shaft is realy quite easy.
Her is what you need to do:

Remove the wheel/tire.
Remove the rear brake drum.
Remove the brake line to the rear wheel cylinder and plug the line.
Remove the park brake cable.
Remove the entire rear backing plate assembly; no need to remove the rear shoes.
When the backing plate is off, the axle shaft slides out of the axle housing; there are no "C" clips to remove, like on a Chevrolet. The axle is not held at the differential in any fashion.
Note that if you replace the axle shaft, you will need a machine shop to press the wheel bearings & seals onto the new shaft.

If you have any further questions; please feel free to respond.

Thanks for choosing FixYa for assistance; the graciousness of a FixYa rating for my instructions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
