Changed the pads on my 04 Kia Sedona. Even though they are new my pedal goes to the floor when I go to stop. I think I need to adjust my rear brakes but not certain. How do I check and see if the auto...

You will have to turn the drum, and adjust accordingly, adjust them little by little, until the drum drags on the brake shoes, adjust them until they drag, but you can still turn the drum by hand, you might want to remove the drum first, just to make sure the brake shoes are not too worn, and need replacing. If this was a t all helpful, please rate, thank you.

Kia sedona automatic transmission gearbox

To fill the transmission fluid, you need a funnel that fits into the dipstick tube, add fluid there. If the fluid is black and smells burnt, that's bad. I would have the fluid changed. These transmissions don't have a filter, probally a bad idea.

04 sedona wont start after changing diesel filter!

Yes big time ,fit a non return valve in the feed line from the filter to the pump ,you have a air leak somewhere and i would suspect the rubber o ring in the top of the filter housing, its running back when you leave it because of the air leak

Change spark plug wires on 04 kia sedona

REMOVAL OF THE PLUGS:

Do not attempt any maintenance on spark plug if engine is hot.
1. Disconnect negative battery terminal.
2. Carefully remove high-tension leads.
3. Use compressed air to blow any dirt or debris from around spark plug hole.
4. Check that spark plug fits squarely in spark plug socket and remove spark plug.

Raise a vehicle and install SST(OK552 131 001) in order to replace cylinder 2, 4, 6 spark plug.

INSTALLATION:

1. Install spark plug into cylinder head.

Tightening torque : 18~22lb-ft (25~30N·m, 2.5~3.0kg-m)

2. Reconnect high-tension leads.
3. Reconnect negative battery cable.

Hope this helps and simple to understand. Good luck

It could possibly be your rear brakes hanging up (not releasing). Not alot to go on, but to check the brakes wouldn't be too hard, and I'd compare both sides, to see if the right is wearing quicker than the left. That could indicate a brake problem. It also could be the brake wear indicator on that wheel, which when the brakes wear to a point that they will soon need to be replaced, the wear indicator makes contact w/ the drum/rotor, as a warning to have them checked. They can make quite a loud annoying sound like u describe. .So have the brakes on that wheel checked, I think that is your problem. countrycurt0
