I just buy my brakes from Deckers or Lordco then get a back yard mechanic to put them in for $50 and hour. I live in Canada though and front and back brakes your looking at $70. cost. for parts. It only takes 1hour time. Mechanics in a shop usually charge $65-75 an hour. And their cost is High on parts. Not sure where you are from but Costco, Canadian Tire or even WalMart does a good job! You better get them looked at soon though as you could run into the Rotors which are expensive and don't get them resurfaced as almost same price from parts place to get new ones. Don't wait till they start squeeking as the pad is worn down to metal, thats when you will need to replace Rotors!

Grinding wining noise when slowing down cruising at slow speed, not turbo wine and the noise does not change when turning left and right. 2004 2.0 TDI Audi A3

This may sound obvious, but I would have your brakes checked out, just to rule them out. Many shops will do a free brake inspection.
If the noise is coming from the engine, look for a "Check Engine" light. If you see that, then have someone hook up a scanner to check the codes thrown by the car's computer and go from there.
A grinding noise is not something you want to put off or wait to fix.

I have a ford focus that won't go over 25 miles an

Depends.
Check the transmission fluid.
It should be clean and not brown, and reddish.
It should not smell burnt.
It should be full according to the instruction manual.
If you pull the dipstick and it is out of fluid, or smells burnt, you may need a transmission.
Another clue: When you step on the gas, does the engine go really fast but the car does not?
Is your emergency brake on?
If the engine goes really fast, the parking brake is off, and the car goes slow, could be the transmission is at fault.
Be Blessed.

When push brakes you have to push really hard to make them go in then the truck barely stops. Replaced the MC and bled the brakes now every time push brakes truck acts like its going to die. Brake light...

Sounds like you will have to bleed your brakes again, but thats not the problem og hard brake peddle, need to check your power brake booster, sit right in back of master cylinder, check make sure it has vacum going to it, also to test it with engine off, press on brake peddle three time, then state engine with foot on peddle, peddle should go down a few inches, also with engine of peddle should feel soft for three pumps, if you have none of this , power brake booster is bad.

the speedometer/odometer problem sounds like the vehicle speed sensor, which is ususally found on your front wheels, the stalling out sounds like an unrelated problem, but i couldnt tell you where to start for that one

Brake pedal went out on me going about 65 on the highway, was able to pump enough to get it under control. Brake company said brakes and diaphragn were fine, needed new master cylinder. Brakes went out...

it sounds like you've got an issue with the engine vacume line going to the booster. there's an in line one way check valve that keeps vacume in the booster in case of a loss of vacume, like if your truck stalled while driving. but there should always be vacume with the engine running. so check the vacume line going to the brake booster for kinks obstructions, and leaks.

TRANSMISSON PROBLEMS

if its manual sounds like your clutch could be slipping does car smell of burt clutch?
check cluth adjustment
may need new clutch
do stall test with hand brake on, foot (heel-toe) on brake and accel pedal to about 2000rpm then let out clutch and car should stall if engine revs go down and engine still runs but you can rev causing slip and you will now smell what slipping burnt clutch is replace it.

if its auto check trans oil level and what does it look like red-good
darker red to black-bad often smells burnt also possibly new trans required.
