Question about Cars & Trucks
The Antenna is bent nearly in half and nearly broken in two. The motor appears to be operating. Should the Antenna Mast be replaced in it's entierity or can the antenna itself be replaced. Don't want to spend the money if I can just replace the antenna itself and not the whole unit.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

more likely the mast drive cable is broken and needs to be replaced, very common. You will need to contact the dealer to see if they sell a mast repair kit for your car, many Japanese cars make you replace the whole antenna to fix this problem.

Reverse the wires, one is hot going up and the other hot going down, the easiest way to deal with this is to just reverse them.
