SOURCE: 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Problem

I would start by checking all the fuses under the hood.
There is a fuse called IOD which the factory leaves out and gets put in at the dealer.
That fuse could be bad.

SOURCE: window motor replace 2001 jeep grand cherokee

You need to remove all the skrews from the door. Normaly there is one in the handle of the door, one behind the in door lach handel and one under the bump out for the arm rest on the door. Than you need to take a flat head skrew driver slowly priying the panel off. There are plastic clips on the backside of the panel it is ok if you brake a few.

Try to find one at a salvage yard. Is the rubber track piece supposed to be held on by glue? You might try a good adhesive to make the old track piece stay on.

My drivers side power window for my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee is off track and the rubber window housing is behind the window itself. How can I get it back on track?

If you are not well versed in taking doors and panels apart, go to an auto glass shop and they can fix it for you in less than an hour much more cheaply than a dealer. They will have the tools and fasteners in stock.

1998 jeep cherokee laredo windows stop working then start again after turning off the car and waiting

sounds like the power window circuit breaker(most if not all cars use a metal circuit breaker instead of a fuse that can blow)is tripping becuse of a short or overload in the power window bet is get ahold of a good wiring diagram for the power windows.also look for any tightness/binding in the window channels/tracks.and check all 4 doors by the hinges where the wires pass thru from the body to the door panels inside a rubber boot.
