If all other locks work with the remote and the inside lock switch then the most likely cause is a stuck lock actuator on the driver's door, the door panel should be removed to check and replace it.

Can you operate the central locking once inside the car? Does your interior light come on when you open the drivers side door? If those are both the case, then you may have a bad door microswitch. If your car can't detect your drivers side door being closed, the central locking will not operate from the keyfob. If the microswitch is bad, you may need to take it to a garage to have it serviced as the procedure is complicated. See this website for details:

SOURCE: Jeep grand cherokee central locking system

If all the doors do not lock or unlock when using the passenger side switch, then the switch itself is probably bad.   If the passenger side switch locks or unlocks all the other doors except for its own, then the power lock solenoid inside the door is bad or jammed.  If it is jammed, try locking and unlocking the door manually while activating the switch to work its way free.

SOURCE: locked keys in 2007 Toyota Yaris; manual locks;

Three possibilities:
1. Call a service that can unlock your car (there are a BUNCH of these)
2. Buy a slim jim and unlock the car with that
3. Go to the dealer with the title to your car, or some proof of ownership, and they can cut you a new key.

Hope this was a little help,
matt

2003 corolla driver side central locking motor struggling to lock the rest are ok. Got handsets checked but all good. Having same problem when I lock it from switch in car.

A locking system probably damage only at the drivers side. Contact a mechnic for an evaluation and estimates about faults to make possible repairs. The process would require parts, repairs and time to reestablish on the road once more.
