Is there a reset button for the chevrolet 2005 silverado 1500 truck cd player mine will not play

Usually the head deck is replaced if you have a factory radio. It isn't worth the time or money to repair the problem. You can usually find them at a junkyard or other dismantling yard.

DASHBOARD

you should'nt have to take out the whole dash. a few screws on the molding that surrounds the cd player and you should pull the casing out. The moulding goes from the radio to the dash, it's that big, but thats about all you have to mess with, other than replacing the stereo.

INTERNAL MALFUNCTION OF THE RADIO.. CHEAPEST SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM IS TO REPLACE THE RADIO WITH EITHER AN AFTERMARKET RADIO OR A USED RADIO FROM A WREAKING YARD.

Radio displays error 7

either the player cannot play the cd (usually happens with computer copied cd's) or you should try any kind of original audio cd that is not copied form a computer and if the problem persist, then take the radio to get checked while it;s still under warranty.
