Question about 2004 Citroen Berlingo 2.0

Open Question

Location key receiver in dash

Where is the receiver for the remote key signal please. Trying to fix my central locking. Also, my door locks have a 6 pin plug though only five used. Haynes manual suggests a 9 pin plug. Can you explain the difference please?

the reciever is built into the comm2000 unit (the unit which houses the indicator/wiper stalks) the 6 pin none full closure and the 9 pin plugs will be for those with full closure.(when you lock the car it closes the windows). the usual fault with these is the drivers door lock mechanism causes the CL to not work or bounce.

Hello, please can someone help me. I have a W210 (E200) year 2000. The problem is that my car refuses to lock/unlock with fob. Please note, there is nothing wrong with fob, new batteries and both radio...

probably the FOB, just because other functions work does not mean that the lock/unlock will work. This is the most used function and the one that goes first.

My Mitsubishi colt CZ1 (07 plate) has problem with cental locking. I can manually central lock but with the remote it locks/unlocks all the doors except the driver's door. Please help. Thanks

Central locking works by way of little electric motors that engages and disengages the door lock. The drivers door has an additional set of contacts in the actuator which signal the controller when it changes position. The controller activates the servo motors when a signal is received from the receiver or from the drivers door servo motor. So in your case I suspect the motor part of the drivers door actuator is done for.
To replace you will have to remove the inner driver's door panel to get at the actuator. The actuator itself cannot be repaired and needs to be replaced as a unit.

security module in the trunk ???? There is no security module in the trunk . What light's come on by them self ? Park lamps , headlamps , brake lamps ,turn signals etc.... The module for anti-theft is under the right hand side of the dash . The remote keyless entry module is located in the trunk. Is this the part you hear clicking in ?
Door Lock Control Processor, Electronic NOTE: The electronic door lock control system will not function when the ignition switch is in the RUN or ACC position.
The electronic door lock control processor:
  • is located on the LH side of the luggage compartment.
  • contains a radio receiver that receives a signal from the keyless entry remote transmitter (15K601) through electronic door lock control processor antenna, and sends the appropriate command to the power door locks, the horn relay, the indicator flasher, or the anti-theft warning system.
  • is equipped with a battery backup which holds the programmed code in memory in the event the vehicle battery is disconnected.
