SOURCE: the power streeing fluid is leaking at the point

Clean off the area- try to identify the source of the leak.
You may only have a split pressure line or a loose line connection.
If you can't find or repair the leak, take it to a repair shop as it could lead to loss of power assistance.

SOURCE: where to locate the power streeing filler to

  • Open the hood and find the reservoir for the power-steering fluid. It will probably be labeled on the cap. If not, look near the belts for a pulley-driven pump with a plastic or metal reservoir on top.

  • check-add-power-1.2-120x120.jpg

Open the cap. It may unscrew or pop off.

  • Check the fluid level (see illustration in Step 2). If the reservoir is made of clear plastic, look for full and low indicator lines on the outside. The cap will have a small dipstick attached if the reservoir isn't see-through. Wipe the dipstick clean with a rag and put the cap back on. Remove the cap and check the level on the dipstick. Your car may have both full hot and full cold indicators, as the fluid level will vary depending on whether the engine is cold or hot.

  • Add power-steering fluid as needed, using a funnel to avoid spilling. If the engine is hot, fill to the hot line. If the engine is cold, fill to the cold line.

  • Put the reservoir cap back on.

Did a power streeing pump convert manual streeing into power streeing?

No. You need also a power steering "box", usually a rack and pinion type.

    When turning streeing makes noise

I would like to help you with your problem. However, I have no idea what "streeing" is. If you meant to say STEERING, I would recommend that you check your belt tension and power steering fluid level.

Where is the ecm fuse on 2004 rx8

    Sounds like your going turbo.
ECM has three fuses. The one that sends always-on power is the 15 amp #30, centre of the front fusebox. The other two are marked 'engine'.

Power streeing oil leeking under from car

Your Camry uses ATF ( Automatic Transmission Fluid). Your going to have to get the leak repaired, common cause is the high pressure hose is leaking and soon it will fail 100% and your going to lose your power steering. Worst is the ATF is flammable and if it hits a hot spot like the exhaust manifold, it will catch fire. Good luck and hope this helps, and don't let the fluid get too low. Low fluid in your steering pump will cause damage.

    My Brake lights don't work

2004 Rx8 kept blowing 15amp brake light fuse. Solution: wire going to rear lights was worn and frayed where it feeds through the left trunk lip on left side of trunk. This can be seen when you open the trunk lid. The wire routes by the trunk lid hinge. If the support connectors come loose, the wires are crunched by the hinge or lid. Re-splice, insulate, zip-tie, replace fuse and replace any blown bulbs.
