SOURCE: hydrolic clutch makes grinding noise when in nutural...

It's the throw out bearing. They probably call it a Clutch Release Bearing.

Envision a round large thick tube. On this tube put a bearing at the end of it. Now put a thick metal doughnut on that bearing. The thick metal tube stays stationary, and the metal doughnut spins.
The bearing this 'metal doughnut is riding on, is bad.

Solution? Have this throw-out bearing replaced.

SOURCE: loud clanking noise in gear if the clutch is not engaged

Almost sounds like a throwout bearing problem. Either way, bring the car back and make them fix it. It will be covered under the warranty so dont let them try to convince you otherwise.

SOURCE: 1994 corvette makes sqeaking noise

this noise (based on my own Corvette doing the same thing) is that it is the sway bar rubber bushings making the noise, remove them and apply white grease to the inside of the rubber bushing, then retest, it fixed mine (1996)

if noise is only when starting, consider replacing the starter. the mounting bolts could have some loose, or the clutch which disengages the starter gear is not retracting the gear. either situation could cause a loud noise of the starter gear clattering with the ring gear.

For a manual transmission, this means your clutch has completely failed. The loud noise was likely not a belt, but the cluch release bearing. I'll bet this was a screeching noise that reduced or stopped when the clutch pedal was depressed.

You'll need a new replacement pressure plate, driven plate, release bearing and anything else that is found to be worn out when the the transmission is removed to do the job. A garage would need 4-6 hours labour to do this.

My a/c compressor pully is making noise when the engine is running .

If it is indeed the pulley and not the compressor itself than all you have to do is pry slightly against the A/C clutchplate at equal and opposite spots( 3:00 and 9:00) this will bring the plate back to where it was upon assembly. Thank you, Dana P.S. if the clutch is making noise while the compressor is running than you've got to address that by replacing the compressor.

Gear shifting

Adust clutch cable.Test...start the car in first gear with clutch fully depressed, parking break off. Slowly release the clutch. determine when the vehicle starts to move. If clutch is fully depressed call that 100%, fully released is 0%. The vehicle should be moving at around the 55-45% range.
