Swerves alot while driving

Something seriously loose or worn:

- steering box mounts
- steering column universal joint or end clamp
- steering box inner ball joints
- tie rod ends
- outer ball joints
- wheel centre hub nut
- wheel stud nuts

A simple test is to jack up both front wheels and place the vehicle on axle stands. Then have someone hold the steering wheel, grab a front wheel at the 9-and-3 o'clock position, and shake it hard in and out. If you can feel slack or looseness, or the person holding the steering wheel can, you have a dangerous fault which should be fixed ASAP.

How to know if a universal joint is going bad on a 2000 Grand Prix?

You have cv joints, they are in the cv axle on each side of the car,two axles, there are two in each axle,if you turn the car sharp either way,you can hear the click click ,click in witch ever side it is on,that will be the axle that needs to be replaced, the axle for this car at napa auto parts is only about 53.00 exchange.

What cause my f 350 to start pulsate when i am turning and brakes do the same real bad no fault code

you need to check the axle outer joints are binding, not sure if yours are U-Joints or CV joints.
the brake problem sounds like the rotors need cut or replaced.

I replaced the right side front axle on my 2000 blazer and I still get a clunking noise when I switch into 4 wheel drive the noise only happens when I press on the gas so I believe it has something to do...

look for loose disconnected rear suspension components.also check for loose driveshaft bolts.inspect all nuts bolts to the specified torque.if everything check out okay.you have worn or damaged universal joint bearings.

Replacing front drive axle universal joints.

remove front wheel brakes, rotors, axle nut, remove the four bolts on the bake side of your unit bearing using one of the 4 bolts removed from the unit bearing (also knowin as wheel bearing) go get a half dozen of the same bolt only 1 to 2 inchs longer theard them into the unit bearing from the back side and start beating. the unit bearing is a sob to get out but will come out with time once you get it out pull out your axle shaft replace the ujoint and reassemble anti seize everything as you re assemble it
