Question about Chrysler Cars & Trucks
I have a 2000 chevy blazer zr2, pulled into my driveway was in the house for maybe about 5-7mins came out to what looks like oil all over my driveway so i got my dad to start the truck while i looked under to se where it was leaking and it is leaking from 2 lines coming from the rad on the passanger side of the car. i was told that the passanger side was the ****** lines and the driver side was the oil lines if you follow the line that are leaking the go from the rad to the ******. but if theyre ****** lines how is it oil leaking out? is the ****** oil cooled?

Its fairly easy, you dont have to replace the fittings at the cooler. if they are leaking up at the cooler, it needs to be replaced, but if not, its just simple line to line, not too long of a process
please rate well! hope this gives you the info you needed!

Is the line before and after the connector steel? If you can cut the leaking section out w/ a hack saw, u can slip a section of gas line over the trans cooling line, and put a clamp on both ends, quick cheap fix that will last a long time.

Common for the transmission line to the radiator has failed due to corrosion. You can replace the line or section it off bad part with a new line, just make sure you use compression clamps. I had the same problem and i ended up running a new line with a inline remote transmission oil filter. B&M makes a universal remote transmission oil filter and runs around $45.00. Good luck and hope it's just the line that went bad, keep me posted.

Testimonial: "very helpful, the line popped out of the tranny, clip-on type. I do not understand what would cause it. Thanks"
