You may need to loosen a heater hose and run the engine until all the air is out. Don't scald yourself!

Busted radiator hose, engine knock

Its possible you hydro-locked a cylinder with coolant which would have bent a connecting rod. When a cylinder gets liquid in it, the liquid will not compress so something has to give.
The head gasket could be leaking to cause the leak into the cylinder.
Hydro lock could also bend a valve.

Offmy 2000 oldsmobile alero over heats n shuts off

if it's a V6 then you prob have intake gskts/head gskts leaking coolant to cylinder and causing it to hydro lock, filling cylinder with coolant and filling radiator with cylinder pressure causing coolant to blow out of radiator and reduces your cooling of engine.....see a mechanic looking at a big repair bill or engine swap

I have coolant in my transmission fluid ,and need to know what to do to fix it.

Sounds like you have a busted radiator. Its leaking from the motor coolant to the transmission coolant inside the radiator.

My nissan nx keeps overheating i put a new radiator, and stuff but it still over heats bad what should i do?

All you can do is properly continue to test until
you have an answer as to why it over heats

That obviously hasn't been done, either by you
or a repair shop

Radiator,Thermostat,Head Gasket,Timing Issues
any number of things

You have to know what tests to perform & have access
to the proper equipment to perform them

If your 18 & have little knowledge your in trouble

Looks like you need to replace your upper hose as it may be faulty, if you can easily pinch it together, then it's bad. also i would replace the radiator cap as well if it hasn't in a while. Has the water pump ever been replaced?

How many gal of antifreeze should i put in the coolant system? I put 2 gal in as there was little left in the system. I went to drive the truck and within 15 min the truck was over heating. The antifreeze...

Was it knocking in the radiator when it over heated if so you most likely got an air lock in the system by pouring the new antifreeze in to fast. You need to add it real slow and once you think the radiator is full start the truck and let it warm up and leave the radiator cap off until the thermostat opens and then add more antifreeze because when the stat opens the level will go lower. Once you are sure the antifreeze is circulating an full then you can go drive the truck. Some people use a 50 percent mix of antifreeze to water but I always use 100 percent antifreeze it runs cooler.

Put new radiator in,and no heat comes out,Could my hearter core be froze up.

You might consider bleeding out the air you might have in your cooling system after you opened it,drain it to replace radiator.Let it cool down open rad cap start engine watch the burps of air come up when air locks are out coolant starts to swirl as it circulates might drop fluid level to have coolant on hand to top up after wards shut it of with rad cap off let it sit for as long as you possibly can any remaining air locks will burp out.Once coolant completely down put your rad cap back be sure fluid is full reservoir as well. Now see if you have heat.
