It is located at the back of the engine near the fire wall. It is gray with a T connector at the top with two hoses coming off of the T and going forward into the intake manifold.

Where is 2003 ford focus camshafts position sensor

Camshaft Position Sensor
The camshaft position (CMP) sensor detects the position of the camshaft. The CMP sensor identifies when piston No. 1 is on its compression stroke. A signal is then sent to the powertrain control module (PCM) and used for synchronizing the firing of sequential fuel injectors. The Coil On Plug (COP) Ignition applications also use the CMP signal to select the proper ignition coil to fire. The input circuit to the PCM is referred to as the CMP input or circuit.
There are two types of CMP sensors: the three pin connector Hall-effect type sensor (Figure 25) and the two pin connector variable reluctance sensor

1999 Ford Truck Explorer 2WD 4.0L SOHC 6cyl is detecting rich or lean air fuel ratio what could it be

try spray cleaning your air mass sensor. be careful and use very little spray. you can damage the air mass sensor with too much spray. the air mass senser tells the computer if your air filter needs to be replaced. it is located between the air filter and the air throttle body.

I have a 1998 Ford Explorer, 2wd, 4.0L SOHC 6cyl. It won't idle when cold. Once it's warm, it runs fine. Codes coming up is running lean. Could it be my coolant temp sensor?

Check for vacuum leaks. this is the main cause for lean codes. Definitely not the coolant sensor. Let me know there are other things also.
