SOURCE: Starting

I am currently working a similar problem on a 92. I narrowed it down to the ignition switch assembly. This is a Mitsubishi with an Eagle/Chrysler plate on it - and the older Mits suffer from this. Try this, its not too complicated. Remove the steering column covers to and bottom. This will expose the ignition switch and rear connector. Remove the connector (white with 6 or 7 wires) from the back of the ignition switch. Now try turning the center with a small screwdriver. If it starts, then its the same issue I have - but its not likely that its the switch you pulled that is bad. What seems to happens with these is that the actual ignition tumbler (where the key goes) that turns what you are turning with the screwdriver wears out. When this happens it does not turn the switch all the way to the "start" contact. While I look for a replacement, I rigged it with a filler on the pin that goes into the plastic you turn – like some plastic tubing. This seems to work for a while, But the correct way to fix this is to replace the tumbler assembly. That’s the tough part finding it.
Hoe this helps - it worked for my friend’s car and for the newer Mitsubishi Gallant with almost identical parts. We're looking for the part now.

Fuse diagram

Could be the turn signal switch.
There should be a fuse for the turn signals and one for the headlights.
They are different circuits.

The signal lights or emergency lights do light up when turning on!!!

Without knowing the year/make/model, and without an owners manual, I can't really tell you which fuse. Check in your owners manual to see which fuse is for your 4-ways/hazard lights and turn signals. If you don't have the owners manual, check inside the cover of the fuse boxes as many cars will list what fuse is for what feature

My toyota 92 pickup truck turn signals don't work;

Try changing out your turn signal flasher.it might be under your dash by your fuse box.Some trucks have two one for turn signals one for 4 way flashers.By all means check the fuse first.

My turn signals stopped working, I assume maybe a blown fuse. I looked for that fuse under hood but its not there. I looked at the fuse panel under the driver side dash but the fuse box cover is gone, and...

your flasher fuse is generally a round, or rectangular metal fuse.It should be in the fuse panel under the dash.If you look closely at the back of the fuse,sometimes they are stamped. You may be able to obtain a diagram of your fuse panel from your owners manual,check the index,or appendix in it.If you still have problems after replacing the flasher fuse,you may have a bad signal switch in the collum.Also try your hazards.On my truck the hazard signal sometimes does not fully engage,although the hazards stop flashing the turn signals wont work.more than likely,if the flasher fuse is blown,your hazards wont flash either. the lights for the signal should appear on your instrument panel and stay on steady,and not flash. good luck
