What am i missing? no power to starter selenoid.

is the immobilizer off ? any other device that stops power to start or run the engine. modifications alarm upgrades etc these can all stop the power to the starter. even ecu being switched off as ecu has a shunt so it can handle the power drain when engine is being started.

Hi Grace , no you don't need to have it flashed , reprogramed ! How to Test Diagnostic Trouble Code P0765 Shift Solenoid Malfunction P0765 Chrysler Underdrive Solenoid Circuit Fault You need to see if there is a open circuit too , broke wire that goes to that solenoid !

Won't start, the solenoid will click, battery charger shows 12.8 volts, is there a test I can preform ?

click dont mean the selenoid work when click ck whit a test light if power came out of the selenoid

2004 dodge dakota sometimes starter just clicks then after a couple times it will start .starter tested good battery is good

That sounds like a starter selenoid problem. The selenoid is what the key switch engages to supply power to the starter. I am not sure of the location but many are on the fender well under the hood. I hope that helps.

It does not turn over and the selenoid does not even make a clicking sound?

try tapping the selenoid lightly with a hammer see if it clicks if so bad selonoid and if doesnt make sure to check make sure it is getting power use a voltmeter or test light also try using a jump wire from battery make sure its not a power problem

OK the blazers are prone to stopping up the cat. Start the engine and run it for 5-10 mints. feel the cat on both ends, the pipe going in and the pipe going out, if it is cooler on the out going end she is clogged up and just buy you a generic will fit cause they are less costly.

2002 gmc abs light is on tested sensors with ohm meter right hand side tested 15 ohms and left side tested 0 ohms where is my problem.

all sensors will read different depending on the wheel. so hookup ohm test again and then spin the wheels the ohm range should vary from 0 to 50 ohms both side should match. the side that remains constant or at 0 is faulty.

CPM, timing is every thing and the CPM controls your timeing. If you have fuel at the rail, and spark than your issue is they are not being provided at the same time. To test your CPM you can use the trouble codes while starting or you can use the test suggested in the ignition wiring section of your chiltons.
