Question about Chrysler Cars & Trucks
It is making a loud rattling tick noise.. I just had a tune up and replaced my swey ba and links and bushing.. it still make that noise and my key remote doesnt work.. i replaced batteries already... and i have a engine light on...
This could be a lot of things. Unfortunately one of those things could have been the person who did the tune up. Who did the tune up and what exactly did they do. Did you have the engine light before the tune up? The sway bar and bushings should not be involved in this problem at all. The lifters could be caused by the gas you are using. Make sure you are using the correct octaine gas. If it is too low it can cause this rattling also known as "pinging". Also do you have more than one remote for your car? If so check it as well. If your mechanic messed with your computer, you may need to have your remote reprogrammed., I would double check the battery in the remote first. I installed the battery upside down once and of it didn't work. Hope this information helps. Good Luck!
