If I understand, Can Locked pump peal its belt off the pully? It's possible. You should be able to see if it's "frozen" now that belt is off. Try turning by hand. Who took starter off? You or the car movement? Motor locked up? so in the process took the Starter out? or Starter motor locked up? If I miss understand, help me out. Maybe I can help you out.
Have you tried to start it yet?That may be all you need to do to get the tensioner to re-activate and get the proper tightness.Be quick though.Only a brief start,then check it to see if it is any better.
hi did the water pump callapse and cause the car to stop or was it running and you decided to change the the pump and before you took the belt off did you line the timming marks up just let me know and lets see if we can get it going for you yates210456
lol go to the garage lol if u blow a timing belt 90 percent of the time ur motors no more good i have the same car if its a 3.4 and thats what happened to me and i hade to pull the motor out of it and order in a new one and i just put that in it caused me 1500 bucks but it was worth it the are a good car when u know there runing right
