Fuse blows when cigarette lighter is operated

Element in pull out lighter is likely shorted, try a lighter from another car, if it works, replace the RR lighter element, if it still blows the fuse, it's probably a short in the socket, which then probably needs to be replaced.

How do I replace the flint on an old Omega Super Lighter? The old flint appears to be 'corroded' in its tube and I don't want to break it...otherwise the lighter is in great shape.

No brakes 1989 silver spur. abs system

Unfortunately everything except the metal pipes.

Best bet is to buy a set of used ones off a breaker car. Buy new hoses, high pressure and low pressure ones.

I recently replaced my oil pan gasket in my 96 F150 6cyl, 4.9L.

if you have the 4.6L engine the hoses both connect at the back of the engine on the right side to a black pipe and a silver pipe the silver pipe stands straight up and the black one is at about 45 degrees, generally speaking the heater hoses come from the water inlet and outlet to the core (firewall) the flow or direction of water travel does not matter one is in and the other out of the core, to be for 100% sure I would have to know what exactly engine you have. Hope this helps

My cigarette lighter will not work in my car.

You say you do not believe it's the fuse. What makes you think that ? A lighter and a socket ( 2 separate parts) probably run around $ 40 plus installation if you are not doing it yourself.

The guages from the japense car the engine was in are in metric units, so they measure differntly. The sensors should be physically identical, every engine is made in japan.
