You do need to pull off the inner door panel. After the panel is off, you are going to need to disconnect the lock rods from the outer handle and the key cylinder to the door latch mechanism. You will need a long 1/4" drive ratchet and extension, and a 10 millimeter socket. The outer handle is held on by 2 10 mm bolts, you access them thru the inner part of the door. There is a hole provided, with clear tape over it, that will lead you to the harder to see bolt. After the bolts are out, remove the handle, swap the key cylinder into the new handle, and reinstall. Not hard at all.

remove phillips scew and the door handle. remove padded arm rest on the door by lifting it up, and remove 2 screws. You can use a panel tool to remove the plastic toggle like pins holding the panel border in. Be as gentle as possible they may break due to becoming brittle.

SOURCE: rebuilding the front
The best thing you can do, that will make everything you will need available to you, is to buy a Chilton or Motor's manual. They have every nut, bolt, wire etc. They also give instructions on how to remove and install difficult parts.

The sensor will cost around $100 give or take a bit. The labour will be around $50 give or take a bit (30 min job according to estimate book)
you can also buy the sensor and change it yourself. It's the O2 sensor located after the catalytic converter
