My heat quit working

The heat would come on and then just quit you could hear the heat turn on but no heat was coming out. the same day later on it started working again and then has went out and came back on a couple times since. Now it has not came back on. Also it seems like there is a lot of play in the steering wheel on the highway when getting up to 70 mph, I have no idea what it could be any advice on these issues would be appreciated!

I would check you coolant level. If that is good then it could be your thermostat sticking. then lastly there is a valve that open and closes and lets the hot water go into your heater coil which could be sticking.

When you have heat on 4 and 5, but not on the others, replace the blower motor. especially since you have the noise. It is on the passenger side under the dash.

Check the fuel pump relay, it should be in the underhood fuse box, and could cause the problem your describing. Buy one at the parts store ( quite inexpensive) and try replacing it before going to the pump itself.
