The firing order for a Chevy s10 depends on which engine you have. 1.9L engine the firing order is: 1-3-4-2 . Distributor rotates counterclockwise. 2.0L engine the firing order is: 1-3-4-2 . Distributor rotates clockwise. 2.5L engine the firing order is: 1-3-4-2 . Distributor rotates clockwise. 2.8L engine the firing order is: 1-2-3-4-5-6 . Distributor rotates clockwise. 4.3L engine the firing order is: 1-6-5-4-3-2 . Distributor rotates clockwise.

SOURCE: 94 blazer s10 4l60e and the 94 fullsize blazer

Installing the full-size Blazer trans into the S-10 would be safer. As long as they came off of the same size engine then yes, they will interchange. But.... the trans off of the S-10 is not built as strong as the trans for the full-sized Blazer, clutch capacity is less, band servo may have smaller apply area, and torque convertor stall speed may different enough to set a "code". Towing capability would be compromised. I have no idea what you meant by the "bolt for the plate".

That's usually the temperature sensor. If it's failed, then it will not allow the emissions system to go into "closed loop" mode, where it begins considering the input from the oxygen sensors.

1993 S-10 Blazer has erratic idle and stalls

Check the tps "trottle positioning sensor, on mine the idle would not stay steady, and shift so hard that it would sound like it was going to break something. it is located on the drivers side of the throttle body with a push in electrical connector.

you might want to replace the fuel pressure regulator, though it sounds like there is a restriction in the system or H2o in the fuel. from another angle, you did change the cap and rotor? hope this helps.

Cannot find knock sensor on a 1996 all wheel drive blazer with a 4.3l cpi

Hi, the knock sensor could be on either side of the engine. however it is very easy to spot, it is zinc colored (brass). and the tip of it looks just like a water bottle nipple it's plastic. happy motoring!
