Hi,
a 6ya Mechanic can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Mechanic (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

You can find many websites selling Renault parts. Here you have some but if you do a simple search for Renault parts, you'll get more.

Now, honestly, I have no idea if your Reault Kangoo 1.4 uses short or long bolts. Maybe contacting any of those sites carrying Renault parts can help you

Starter removal

The Renault 5 has what looks like a standard electric starter. first disconnect the battery. Then follow the heavy electric cable from the solenoid to the starter motor. There should be 2 bolts holding in place. If yo need to remove the starter slowly loosen one of the bolts, then loosen the second one. Carefully remove both bolts, then pull the starter out. Make sure you do not dangle the starter by the electrical cable.
