the coin(shim) are slack they carry differnt thickness clearance are 8thou int and 12thou exh.you need to change coin(shim) 4m40 engine

in front of the deisel pump the gear wheel is slightly cut/chip mark to the back of it take it out, and place it on t or n (t for turbo n for non turbo) .normal timming is good .If not hand turn until #1 piston is up and #1 cam shaft lobes are not touching cup & shim then set pump to desired mark

55nm for injection nossil and 40nm for injection nossil to body and 5nm for injection clamp nut , these spec's i downloaded from delica club for 4m40 motor
hope this helps , there are many do it youself manuals available from this site including fuel pump diagarams and injection instalation and removal . good luck

Cylinder head (renew bolts)
stage 1 50nm
stage 2 100nm
stage 3 slacken of 360"
stage 4 tightn 50nm
stage 5 90"
stage 6 90"
stage 7 tighten the M8 bolts (the smaller ones) 24nm
