THE GAP IS .054. THE OTHER GUY GAVE YOU THE GAP THAT THE SPARK PLUG COMES FROM THE FACTORY WITH. Only turn the plug 1/16 after seated finger tight if it is a tapered seal. Turn it 1/4 - 1/2 turn past finger tight if it has a compression ring seal.
It's best to go to the Plug Manufacturers website to look up the correct plug & gap, rather than asking on the net. Hope this saves you further complications. Have a nice day.

I did the conversion from .054 inch to metric and it turns out the canadian dime is the perfect gap tool when you consider the slight raised rim on the outside of the coin.

If you are asking about the spark plug gap for a 1996 Oldsmobile LSS it is .60 I am working on one as we speak. If you lift the hood and look in front of the battery on one of the information placards it tells you the firing order and the spark plug gap.

If you're replacing the spark plugs in your car
engine, you'll need to set the gap before reseating the
spark plug. The gap is the distance electricity arcs between the ground
electrode and center electrode. The gap must be set correctly to ensure
maximum performance. Here's how to set the gap of a spark plug.
