Question about Chevrolet Lumina
My car works fine for a few weeks then doesn't start. It revs and just seems to not engage the security light has been on since i purchased it
If you lost battery charge or some unplugged battery cables, could activated security anti-theft system.
I suggest check in the owners manual this reset procedure in order to disarm. If you can scanned the PCM, could be some other fault code stored there.
Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Support the car very securely first of all
Remove the negative cable from the battery
Remove the wires from the starter
Remove the two bolts from the starter going upward to the engine block
Wiggle the starter out
Reverse this proceedure to reinstall
