SOURCE: LEFT TRAILER TURN SIGNAL DOES NOT WORK

I'd get a 12vdc test light if you don't have one already & start from plug, and keep probing back from there. It may be as simple as a bad connection under truck where joined into harness.

If you have trouble finding signal flasher, turn your right side blinker on, and follow clicking noise to flasher.

I think I had to pull the inner fender on the drivers side to access the bottom of the fuse box. Pain in the ****, but...

Fast flashing is usually indicative of a bulb out as the load is decreased. Perhaps a side repeater?

Is my 2004 GMC Canyon turn signal flasher a replaceable part?

hello,
yes it is replaceable, it should be under the dash lower panel, but the fast blinking sounds like a bulb is not working or a bad connection, if you replace the flasher the you may want to make sure that you have the electronic version as they are more reliable. and the other thing is to make sure that you have a good ground in your wiring and that all the connections are dry, tight, and installed properly by color code

Turn Signal very slow

James ,look for crosion in wires or plug on trailer, and broken wires and yes flasher is replaceable ,they do tend to burn out ,replace with original (OEM) some aftermarket ones (mechanical) type can cause there own problems.

NO RIGHT TURN SIGNAL OR RIGHT BREAK LIGHT ON THE TRAILER

If you're looking for the flasher, it's integrated into the instrument panel cluster and is not really a true flasher relay, it just simulates the sound of one. If the turn signal circuit computer chip is defective you must remove the IP cluster and send it out for repair. Nice huh?. __________________

Rapidly flashing turn signal continues even after I replace bulb

And all lights flash? Is this with or without a trailer and its lights connected? LED lights installed?
Many times when there is a slow or fast rate that the signals flash its due to a chaneg in current being drawn. Either from hooking up trailer lights or changing the bulbs to LED. LEDs will draw less currenct and more lights more current.
There are electronic flashers that automaticaly adjust for different current draws to make the lights flash at a normal rate and they plug right in to replace your stock mechanical flasher.
