SOURCE: When I lock My 2006 Chevy Aveo with the remote

i had the same problem with alarm system in 2005 hatchback (5 door), the dealer was no help, found by accident to spray lube oil in rear door handle as it was rusted inside and not releasing properly, thus setting off the alarm, i oiled it several times and the alarm system works fine now.

SOURCE: 2006 chevy trailblazer replace 4wheel drive selector

i've got a 2003, and i believe the parts and procedures are the same for the years. there are screws in the dash trim by the ciggarette lighter, and more on the underneath of the dash pad where the gauge cluster is. then carefully pop the dash trim out. there are retaining clips that hold it in besides the screws. they should pop out without too much effort. i'd start near the radio and be careful. there also may be two more screws near the bottom of the steering wheel that you'll have to remove the trim below it to get at.

SOURCE: 2006 Chevy Trailblazer makes THUD when accelerating

Check your coolant level, low coolant or air in your cooling system will make a "thud"noise in your heater core when the engine is under load from acceleration. The coolant rushes in to the heater core where the air pocket is trapped and then your hear the noise.
Start with the simple and make sure your coolant level is correct and then try to purge the system to remove the air out for your coolant system.
Thank you for using fixya and good luck

SOURCE: I'm having problems with my

If you clear the codes and then disconnect the battery does it do it again and do the codes come back in? The code P0014 Is the cam shaft Phaser. This is the ability of the computer to change the cam timing of the exhaust cam so as to give the best engine performance and gas mileage at differnt engine loads and speeds. If the cam Phasher were to come disconnected ( broken wire, unplugged) the cam will go to full advance and the engine will idel up. This default setting is so the engine will run good at full power but it might not be able to idel or run at low RPM very well. The phasher can stick if the oil weren't changed often enough or the engine had been overheated and caused the oil to fail in the phaiser. Wires can break anytime and other menchaic work may have overlooked reconnecting the connector or damageing it in some way. The P0506 is the fly by wire throttle motor in the throttle body and it might not have anything wrong with it at all as the P0014 cam out of position can make the system ( think) it's not closing the throttle , but the cam timing makes it idel faster than it would if it ******** as it should normanlly. The rule on fixing codes is work on the lowest number first. Reconnect all the senser connectores and the one on the cam adjuster for sure with the engine trying to idel wrap on the actuater ( it's on the end of the head) to unstick it.( maybe) Change the oil and put some lifter clearere in the oil to maybe clean this acuator so it might start working again. With the engine running and trying to idel the plug should have a full 12 volts and ground at the plug. If it runs any different with it unplugged or you don't see the 12 volts go looking for blown fuses in the underhood fuse panel. It does'nt matter what the fuse sayus it does, they all have to be good.

2006 chevy trail inline 6. Change engine oil light came on all of sudden. I changed the oil just 2000 miles ago. What does it mean? How do I reset ?

{: ) It could be that it was not reset properly and successfully when you last changed your oil. A scan tool can reset it better. Also, double check for oil level and leaks.
