check the mechanism where belt coils it should only lock when suddenly pulled out- compare with working belt

Puttin seat coffers on back back seat didint know u had 2tie them 2stop them lockin.middle seat belt locked soo how do i unlock it piz


their may be a hole to put a small screw driver in or it may be that a certain angle has to be on the belt pull slowly to see if it unlocks belts lock with fast motion

Seat belt buckle stuck in locked position


Try sliding a thin long metal shim such as a butterknife in between, you may have to "Pickthe Lock",once it unlocks, you'll need to go see "Yard" for a used retainer that has 1 big bolt thru the floor, under the seat

The front seat belt was locked to the back seat belt in error


you may have to pry it out, but would have to replace the lock assembly can get one at reck yard or supply shop

I WAS IN aN accident and now the front seat belts are locked.


you remove them and unlock the gas release on bottom of seat belt but I would suggest getting used ones from junk yard.

get your dealer to replace the seat belt, depending on age, should be under warranty. Belt is defective. I have a g 2003 vue, and my dealer replaced the belt for no charge.
