SOURCE: location of inertia switch/fuel pump

Yes it can. It doesn't take much like slamming a door or dropping a load of parts. There is only a magnetic ball inside the contacts and it is a wonder that Railroad tracks and Potholes do not trigger more shutoffs. All you do is find the switch and hold down the button on it for about 3 seconds.

Then try starting the van without slamming the doors shut until it is running. If the Inertia switch does not help check the fuse panel, then the relay. The relay should either be in the Black powerbox group or in with the fuseholders.

Won't start has spark to spark plug.

Check for Inertia switch on All Ford products. Usually its located behind the floor kick panels or inside trunk. This part disconnects the fuel pump power.

If you have Ford, Lincoln, or Mercury look up your specific vehicle under "Your Car" Inertia switch location on the internet for exact location.

Or a small wisp of starting fluid will reveal if the engine needs fuel. Besides the Inertia switch you can test the fuel pressure port on the fuel rail. You also have a fuel pump Relay and a fuse and in worst cases your fuel pump could be bad.

Need the location of the fuel inertia fuel shut off switch

If you'd have included the model and year I could give you an exact answer.
On Fords, the inertia switch is either in the trunk near the driver side arm, or under the front passenger side kick panel.

I need to know where the reset switch is for the fuel pump.

the reset switch is located at the front "a" pillar near where your foot would kick, sometimes called the kick panel for this reason.....the switch is called an inertia switch becuase it shuts off the fuel in the event of a collision, now im from australia, where the driver sits on the right and the inertia switch is on the left, it is behind the plastic panel, be careful not to break as you bend it back,,,,,,,good luck
