Hex size of jeep liberty brake bleeder screw.

Hi James:
Seems that most parts are metric now.
The brake bleeder screw is probably 7 mm.
I'd start by wire brushing all the scale/mud off and then trying metric 6 point sockets intil I had the right fit.

Flywheel bolt size

I'm thinking here that the head of the bolts is not very thick in which case the socket you are using will need some modification. If you look in the socket you will see that there is a small lead in relief and this will only allow the socket to full engage on 1/2 of the bolt head. Place the socket in a vice and use a grinder to grind of the face of the socket until the sides are square across. This will give full contact with the bolt head inside the socket.. Another point, it is unusual to find metric bolts in a USA made engine so check out the other size metric sockets as European metric use 9-11-13-15-16-18-20 mm sizes compared to Asian 10-12-14-17-19-21 mm. in auto production.

What size socket 4caliber bolts on 97f150 4x4 4.2engine

Even Ford uses metric sockets for some bolts. I start with both metric and standard sockets then use the smallest tightest one that fits on without being forced on with a hammer. I have had better luck breaking the bolts loose with 1/2" drive sockets and a flex handle breaker bar then use the rachet after the bolt is loose.

How do i get the battery out to replace it

Follow these steps.
1. Uncover Wiper motor and you'll see a bolt holding down collision deflector rod that mounts to grill.
2. remove that blot. usually a metric #13 socket.
3. Remove two bolts holding bar to grill. Usually metric #10 bolt
4. Slide out rod foward from fuse tray. Don't pull up or down on it. You can break Fuse tray clamps.
5. Disconect Ground
6. Disconect Hot or +.
7. Down on back of battery is a Hold Down Clamp with a metric #13 bolt. Unscrew it.
8. Lift out battery as you push Fuse tray out of your way. Good Luck.

How to replace rear bumper on 98 buick century . tools needed to remove and install new bumper.

A rachet, Some small metric sockets 7mm or 8mm a few larger metric sockets 13mm,15mm, phillips head screwdriver and tork bit screwdrivers and a set of metric wrenches may help also and a can of WD-40. Should be some screws in the wheel wells and 4 bolts on each mount for each side of the bumper.
